We want to report the exciting news that our affiliated faculty member Claudio Benzecry (in Communication Studies) has been elected as Chair-Elect of the Theory Section of the American Sociological Association. Claudio will be an important voice for the promotion of innovative theorizing in the discipline. We’re fortunate that Northwestern has so many accomplished sociologists both inside and outside of the Sociology department.
