Please join us in congratulating Héctor Carrillo, whose book Pathways of Desire: The Sexual Migration of Mexican Gay Men has been awarded the Thomas and Znaniecki Book Award (for best book) by the American Sociological Association Section on International Migration. The award will be formally bestowed at the ASA meeting in August.
The International Migration section is the third to honor Héctor’s book; last year it received awards from the Sex & Gender section and the Latina/o Sociology section.
