Laura Acosta-Gonzalez and Stefan Vogler win Maurice J. and Fay B. Karpf Peace Prize

On behalf of the Chair of Sociology Steve Epstein; Monica Prasad, the Director of Graduate Studies; and the members of the Graduate Affairs Committee, we're very pleased to announce that the 2018 co-winners of the Maurice J. and Fay B. Karpf Peace Prize are Laura Acosta Gonzalez and Stefan Vogler. The prize honors “studies and manuscripts involving original contributions to the subject of the promotion of universal peace, goodwill, tolerance, and understanding among the peoples of the earth.” Congratulations to Laura and Stefan, who will share the $10,000 prize!
